Stuart
Baynes, born in 1961, was raised as a publican's son in the south west of
England and studied photography at the Somerset and Bournemouth Colleges
of Art in the late 1970's.
He assisted London-based photographers in the early 1980's and set up his
first studio in Bath in 1987. He quickly established a sound reputation
for his advertising, food, magazine and tourism work.

In 1996
Stuart emigrated to South Africa with his Durban-born wife, Karin, and set
up the first specialized food studio in Johannesburg. Since then he has
photographed most of the major food brands on the South African market.
Although primarily known for his food photography, Stuart has a variety
of clients in the advertising and design industry who appreciate his passion,
skill and experience in getting the image they require. |
